The Community Centre Group of Educational Institutions is housed in a beautiful campus, surrounded by tree-lined streets and abundant greenery.

Understanding the need of elementary to higher education for Independent India, The Community Centre Group of Educational Institutions was founded in the year 1956 with Community Centre Nursery English School, Community Centre Senior English Primary School and Community Centre High School at Jayanagar 1st Block, with the aid of the Government. Equality being one of its driving principles, the trust is providing quality education to students from all walks of life from then to till date. A congenial ambience for overall development, coupled with most affordable fee, welcomes students for acquiring a veryhigh-quality education. More than six decades of service in the education field has made the name, 'The Community Centre Group of Educational Institutions' synonymous with education.

Keeping the spirit of social service and mutual cooperation, the Community Centre was registered under Mysore State Societies Registration Act in 1956 by the then retired IAS officer and former Chief Secretary to Govt. of Mysore, Rajakaryaprasakta Sri B. S. Raghavendra Rao as its first President and educationist, Sri K. V. Ashwathnarayan as its Founder Secretary. Local residents of Jayanagar including Sri N.T. Raju, Sri H.K. Kumaraswamy, Sri K.V. Vasanth and several others ably supported the founder of Community Center, Sri. K. V. Ashwathnarayan.

Later, after the untimely demise of the first President - Rajakaryaprasakta Sri. B. S. Raghavendra Rao, Sri N.T. Raju was nominated asthe President in 1958 followed by Sri Gudibande S.Rama Rao in 1986 and Sri K. M. Nagaraj as President in 1993. Likewise, after the tenure of Sri K. V. Ashwathnarayan as Founder Secretary, Sri K. V. Vasanth was nominated as the Secretary in 1967, Sri H.K. Kumaraswamy in 1986 and Sri Chikkaiah as Secretary in the year 2001. Currently, the Community Center is under the able leadership of Sri K.M. Nagaraj & Sri Chikkaiah.

Parenthetically in the 'International Conference - 2015' held at Bangalore University, for their yeomen service to education, both Sri K. M. Nagaraj, President & Sri Chikkaiah, Secretary were awarded with 'BEST Educational Excellence' and felicitated by the then Vice Chancellor of Bangalore University.
